Amalfi at a Glance

Pretty much all the pizza is pretty great in this part of the world, but if you're looking what locals consider to be THE best pizza in Amalfi, check out Pizzeria Donna Stella just a little bit off the main street, where you can eat pizza aand drink wine under the restaurant's own lemon grove.

The main square has outdoor drinks and a lively atmosphere until about 12am with a numbver of different bars to choose from.

If you feel you need to re-hydrate, Bistro Fratelli Pansa in the main square offer a 1 litre mug of Peroni for about 18 quid!

Local's rave about the beachfront Michelin rated Ristorante Marina Grande which also has a great cocktail menu. Booking in advance is strongly reccomended. Trattoria da Gemma is also highely recommended and has a lovely terrace over looking the Piazza.

The best place to go for a drink and a dance after most of the other bars have closed is the Masaniello Art Café, down on the main beachfront promenade. They have a DJ and it's probably the best place to go for a late drink and a DJ

There are a number of beach clubs where you can rent a deckchair and enjoy bar service to your lounger! Stella Maris and the Mar Di Cobalto are two of the best, but anywhere you see people with towels laid out on the beach you can usually park up for free!
